Delayed opening schedule

WINTER IS HERE- WHAT IF WE HAVE A DELAYED OPENING?

(From the Student-Parent Handbook pg. 11)  The school will be closed or will open late due to inclement weather only when specifically announced on WAVG or WHAS radio. Assumption High School does not make the decisions about late openings or school closings due to weather conditions. The Superintendent of Catholic Schools makes weather-related decisions regarding late openings and school closings. When road conditions are very bad in the morning, with the outlook of improving after rush hour and the archdiocese announces a late opening for the Catholic high schools, Assumption will follow the following schedule:

Homeroom:     9:15-9:35 (homerooms open at 9:05)

First block:      9:40-10:35

Second block: 10:40-11:35

Locker break:  11:35-11:45

Third block:     11:45 a.m.-1:50 p.m.

Fourth block:   1:55-2:50
